“It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you NOT to be? You are a child of God. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence liberates others.”

Playing with Erica

I’m playing what my blog friend Erica started, want to play too?

I AM: excited about today

I WANT: to finish my dissertation
I WISH: I had enough money to do great things in the world
I HATE: anxiety
I LOVE: cafe con leche and the beauty of deep love
I MISS: my younger self (I’m with you Erica)
I FEAR: dying too soon

I HEAR: that still small voice better than yesterday
I WONDER: if there could have been another way for God to get the glory in my life without me having to have endured the drama I did

I REGRET: some of my personal financial decisions of the past
I AM NOT: as thin as I want to be
I DANCE: often in my Living Room alone
I SING: all the time in the shower and everywhere else with my Ipod

I CRY: often
I AM NOT ALWAYS: a good friend, mother, or wife

I MAKE WITH MY HANDS: nothing
I WRITE: as often as I can
I CONFUSE: myself so imagine those close to me

I NEED: to be alone to refresh myself
I SHOULD: finish my dissertation

I START: not enough things because of fear
I FINISH: things that others depend on me for
I TAG: YOU
